Tucked into the hillside village of Kathikas in the Paphos district, Fytos Grill House is a much-loved traditional Cypriot tavern where hearty grilled food meets genuine village hospitality. This is an unpretentious, authentic spot rather than a fancy restaurant, and regulars rate it among the best local grills in the area. The kitchen turns out freshly prepared, generous plates: a wide-ranging meze that easily satisfies two, alongside classics such as lamb tavas, chicken kebab, mixed grill and lamb chops, often accompanied by complimentary Greek salad, pitta, houmous and tzatziki.
