Tucked just off the sand in Geroskipou, near Paphos, this shaded beachfront taverna is a favourite spot for spending a full day by the sea. Guests praise the friendly, attentive staff and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere created over the years, with resident cats, dogs and even a cockerel giving the place a lived-in, characterful feel. The menu offers a decent variety of lunch dishes, local Cypriot specialities and homemade cakes, served at honest local prices alongside a good selection of drinks. Seating under the trees provides natural shade, making it a comfortable stop for lingering over a meal or resting between swims. While some long-time visitors note the space has been tidied up compared to its rustic past, it remains a well-loved, low-key beach taverna worth returning to for good food, good value and a genuine local vibe.
